ORDERS

  • Prices cannot be adjusted once the order has been made.
  • Once an order is shipped, it cannot be cancelled.  
  • Special orders cannot be cancelled at all. We will not refund or exchange items that have been specially ordered for you.
  • Once an order is placed, we hold the merchandise for you until it is shipped out. If you change your mind, however, and want to cancel the order, there shall be a minimum 15% cancellation fee, and shipping charges are non-refundable.
  • Once you order, you must adhere to our terms and conditions.

The most convenient and common way to order is by credit card.  You can order by the internet or you can call us at

  • We accept Visa, MasterCard, Discover, or American Express credit card.
  • Due to recent fraudulent credit card charges, only those orders will be processed whose credit cards statements’ billing and shipping addresses are the same.  These precautions are placed for the safety of our customers and us.
  • If you would like to pay by check or money order, you can call us to get the exact quote for your merchandise and shipping charges, and then mail us a check or money order for that amount. Your order will be processed and shipped as soon as the check or money order is cleared.  
  • Certified Cheque or Money order in U.S. Currency only.

 

SHIPPING AND DELIVERY

  • We charge actual shipping cost which includes insurance for full value of merchandise against loss or damage.

  • Our shipping prices vary from product to product, depending on the weight and the size of the product. If you buy more than one item, there may be a discount on shipping, which will be taken off when we process the order. The discount will not show up when you enter your payment info into the shopping cart system. Please call us for more information.
  • When you order online, the only shipping option selectable is UPS ground.  Please allow for 3-10 business days for UPS ground to deliver the package to your door.  We will provide you with the tracking number of your order.

  • The Shipping Charges are based on using UPS standard ground service to any destination point within 48 United States
  • Deliveries are during working hours Monday to Friday. Saturday delivery may be available at an extra cost.
  • We do not offer any type of insurance or warranty for damage caused to personal property or items used in conjunction with the products we sell.
  • Deliveries are to curb side for large packages such as TVs and other special freight deliveries.
  • Smaller packages are delivered to your door.
  • UPS, FEDEX and other shippers we use do not deliver inside homes unless you pay extra.
  • Damage or loss of any item must be reported to the delivery company and to us within the same day.
  • Customers are responsible for return shipping charges.  This also applies to defective items.

        SALES TAX

  • We collect Sales Tax @ 10.25% from Illinois State, USA Customers

CANCELLATION POLICY

 

 

WARRANTY

 

  • All of our products come with a 1 year limited manufacturer warranty.
  • We do not offer any kind of insurance or warranty for damage caused to any personal property or items used in conjunction with the merchandises purchased from us.
  • The warranty does not cover shipping charges. The customer is responsible for all shipping charges. Return shipping and handling charges must be prepaid with any warranty repairs or replacements. No exceptions will be made. International shipping and air shipping will be billed at higher rates.

RETURN POLICY

  • All items we sell are for normal home use. Using items for other purposes will void the warranty.
  • Altering the product physically will also void the warranty. 
  • We do not offer any type of insurance or warranty for damage caused to personal property or merchandises used in conjunction with the products we sell.
  • Restocking fee will not be charged for defective or damaged merchandise. Misused or abused merchandise will not be accounted as defective.

All of our products, including multi-system TVs, but with the exception of GSM cell phones, carry 1 year limited Manufacture warrantee (90 days labor, 1 year parts) for initially defective merchandise with following terms and conditions:

  • All unlocked GSM cell phones, 220 volts, 110/220 volts, and multi-systems electronics and appliances comes with only international warranty, with exception of US warrantee.
  • Exchange or replace within 7 days for merchandise found initially defective from the date of arrival [DOA] to your door.
  • We will not be responsible, as in giving refunds or exchanges, for any product beyond the 15 days of receipt. The customer will have to contact the manufacturer for further assistance.
  • Shipping charges are non-refundable and customer is responsible for shipping charges to return the item.
  • All return merchandises MUST be brand new, in original factory seal, unused, and untouched, with all supporting accessories and instructions manuals when it was first delivered to you.
  • Before you return your merchandises, you must contact us and receive a Return Merchandise Authorization Number (RMA). Any returns sent without an RMA number will not be accepted by Audio Video Electronics & Appliances Inc. The customer assumes all responsibility for the package until it arrives at our premises.
  • Please include the following information when returning an merchandise:
    • 1) A copy of your original invoice with the RMA number. (Do not write on the item’s box.  If there is anything written on the item’s box, the package will not be accepted even if it is defective).
    • 2) Any merchandise that needs to be exchanged or replaced MUST be sent to us with its original manufacturer carton and with its matching serial number, and then double boxed.  
    • 3) A note stating the problem if you would like the return for replacement or exchange.
  • Other non-defective items in original condition subject to 25% restocking fee include:
    • 1) Failure of network compatibility in the area – customers are responsible to contact their service provider for the availability of compatible network in the area before purchasing the cell phone. If, unfortunately, you have no network due to this reason, you can return the phone with 25% restocking fee of the item’s price, if it is in its original condition.
    • 2) Failure of setting network features – operations and some features are network dependent, such as MMS, GPRS, WAP, and internet services. Audio Video Electronics & Appliances Inc. does not guarantee that customers can successfully use those features. Customers are responsible to ensure the item's compatibility with their service providers, and to contact their service providers for setting those features. Any returns due to this reason will be subject to a 25% restocking fee of the item’s price.
    • 3) Opened software - if any software were opened, regardless of whether the software had been used or not used, will be subject to more than 25% of the restocking fee of the item price or the software's market price.
    • 4) Missing accessories - any missing accessories from the original manufacturer box will be subject to 25% restocking fee of the item price. Customers are responsible to ensure and return everything in the package.
  • No refunds on any merchandises whatsoever under any circumstances.
  • Exchanges and/or replacements are made only after 15 days of receiving the returned defective merchandise(s).
  • We will not accept damaged or misused merchandise caused by the customer.
  • If we find that any part of a cell phone is different then the product that we shipped you, we will charge a $50 assessment fee before we ship that cell phone back to you.
  • For quicker service, please contact us immediately after finding a defect on the merchandise.
